Front Air Bag Sensor Control problems of the 1999 BMW Z3

Three problems related to front air bag sensor control have been reported for the 1999 BMW Z3. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Front Air Bag Sensor Control problem

Failure Date: 09/01/2002

Consumer states that the air bag light remains on while driving. Dealership contacted.

2 Front Air Bag Sensor Control problem

Failure Date: 05/24/2001

Air bag indicator light remains on continuously. Took in to the dealer, however the light came back on and has never gone off, since I have owned the car. Passenger seat belt gets stuck while passenger is belted and will not release.

3 Front Air Bag Sensor Control problem

Reocurring problem with air bag light malfunctioning. Vehicle was in the shop twice before for the same problem. Dealer didn't know how to diagnose and correct the failure.
