Takata recall: on two different occasions, my car stalled while I was in motion. Luckily I was approaching intersections where I was required to stop and was able to do so. The first time it happened, it took me a moment to realize that the car had shut off as all the dashboard readings were working properly and the radio remained on. I finally figured out that the car had stalled and, while it started back up, I was nervous that it would happen again (my daughter was in the car and I was afraid of causing an accident. It happened again today, also while driving my daughter to school, but I stayed on quiet streets in the event that it happened again. This is very nerve-wracking and I can't believe there hasn't been a recall regarding this issue. Since this has happened, I've searched this problem over the internet and have found my experience is not an isolated incident. What is even more disturbing is knowing that some people have been traveling at very high speeds when this has happened to them. . . A huge liability on gm's part which I would think they would want to rectify right away. Let's hope they do.
