Automatic Emergency Braking Problems of Buick Enclave

On 7/20/2025 the following warnings were displayed: brake system warning light (brake), abs warning light, lane keep assist light is white, automatic emergency braking disabled light stayed on, traction control system (tcs) electronic stability control light stays on. Messages: auto hold unavailable, service brake assist, service esc, service stability control: your vehicle may be hard to control in certain driving conditions, schedule service soon. On page 103 in the owner's manual the warning for the brake system warning light said driving with the warning light on can lead to a crash. Have the vehicle towed for service. I had it towed to a local GMC /Buick service department. My safety and the safety of others were put at risk if the car did not brake. Could have led to a crash. The problem has been confirmed by the dealer. They indicated the brake master cylinder needs to be replaced. ( 7/28/2025 I was told it was on back order, when available is unknown) warning lamps etc have been described above. I had just pulled into the driveway of a friend and got all the warning lights.

The brake system abs module/sensor malfunctions- yes it is available for further inspection. Safety is an issue due to the abs indicator light on. Yes, the problem/issue has been confirmed by a dealership. No inspections have occurred other than the dealership. The only warning is the light indicator for the brakes, parking abs.

Passenger side rear electronic parking brake wire clip failed, wire is rubbing against the rear cv boot. This caused a short that led to defective abs control module that had to be replaced for anti-skid and anti-roll for this SUV. It also affected the transmission alert system. Hello, my Enclave’s back up camera keeps going out and it’s identical to the issue that was under investigation by the NHTSA, which gm ultimately just issued a recall for the Cadillac xt5, xt6 and acadia models. These cars are basically the short wheelbase versions of the Buick Enclave and the Chevrolet traverse, and use the same parts for the backup 360 camera failure, so it makes sense that these vehicles would be affected as well. Attached are pictures of multiple times. This is happening which creates an unsafe environment. On the others it appears that it’s a faulty cable. If I turn the car off and let it reset, the camera will work again, but that’s not feasible when in a situation that it is needed immediately. My car is barely out of warranty, I reached out to the dealer and he agreed and it’s the same issue but because these other cars have a recall and mine, doesn’t there’s nothing he can do until a recall is issued. My 2022 Buick Enclave was involved in a minor accident that was a stop and go traffic . The car is supposed to have anti collision sensors in the front grill but the car did not stop or slow down and no warning lights went off , also from the hood had a buckled bacl along with the front fenders and pushed both fenders back a little enough to prevent either front door from opening had to exit through the back seat if the car had caught on fire a person would have not survived , all parts in accident where replaced by the body shop and Buick dealer had to recalibrate the collision equipment thanks for any help jeff quicksell.

Waited for train to pass and gate to raise at railroad crossing, then started to cross tracks. The car went halfway across the tracks, then the forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking activated, stopping us on the tracks. Tried again to move forward, but the collision alert and auto braking immediately activated for a second time, bringing us to a stop again. Finally was able to very slowly make my way through the crossing. I was on the tracks for 30-60 seconds. No train was approaching and it was only my wife and me in the car, but if I'd had six passengers with me and another train had approached, I am not sure I would have been able to get everyone out of the car in time. Note that there were no obstacles in front of the vehicle, but the sun was at a low angle from the front of the car and the sunlight was dappled through the treetops on the other side of the crossing (there's a left-hand curve after the crossing), creating a "moving" glare through the windshield.

On June, 4th, 2021 in the morning I went to markham park with my 13 year old daughter for the covid vaccine. We arrived and right after the shot on her we stopped our Tesla in a line where we should wait for about 15/20 minutes to see if everything was fine with my daughter. While the car was stopped in the line, I was talking to my daughter and the car started moving in the direction of the car in front of us and it hit the car many time till I turned the steering wheel to go away from there. Everything was very fast and confusing. I`m still trying to understand what happened with the car. The car was out of control and the car never tried to break or stop. I think it has stopped because I pressed the p button. I am so frightened and scared about what happened. My daughter and I, the passengers in the car in front of us and the people in the park could have been seriously injured. I opened a report at Tesla in the same day.

1)numerous gas cap ‘red warnings’ were fixed each time 2)driver-side ‘seat belt’. Fixed. 3)check engine light ‘off and on’ will quit after 5-10 minutes 4)stabilitrak/traction-control (red light warnings), on and off, finally stayed took back to parsons of antigo, WI dealership for repair; they said it was fixed. I left dealership at their closing time, started car, the car was shaking, called dealership/told them what was happening/they said bring it back on Monday—this was a Thursday evening after 6 pm! a. I had to drive this ‘shaking-car’ home approximately 35 miles away, while going about 30-40 mph/in a shaking car, seems car wanted to stop. Very frightening in the dark night. B. I had a wrecker come and take the car back to dealership. I do not care to deal with dealership after this—I changed to different dealership. C. About 3 years ago, while driving on us 8 outside of rhinelander the car just ‘simply’ went off the highway; I quickly managed to bring the car back onto the highway blacktop. Is this for real? I. Until July 2025 I worked 40 hours/week and I believed and trusted that the repair services would inform me that I needed to beware of ‘this or that’; when usual car maintenance was completed. D. In 2019, going through a ‘traffic circle’ in green bay, WI area; this vehicle just would not stop (as I need to wait for cars coming from the left) and somehow, I made it through that circle without hitting another car or damaging this car! the police officer asked, ‘what happened?’ and I told him, ‘I have no idea what happened’. I was given a ticket for $175; that was mailed with a check before a certain date. I. Now, after reading all the ‘recalls and complaints’ I can understand ‘the why’ I had to endure driving with this vehicle’s unreliable mechanisms” throughout these years. 5)2021 air bag ‘red light’ for service recall airbag/serviced. 2-19-2026 airbag another warning to replace again. Peopie say this car looks like new. A 'lemon' buy.
