For the past month, I had been unable to start the vehicle unless I would turn the key without fully starting the vehicle and having to shift to each gear until I would be able to start it. It would start in any gear, but mostly in neutral. Now, on September 25, 2024, I stopped at a shopping center and I was unable to turn the vehicle on at all and it is now stuck in that parking lot. I had not been able to report it because hurricane helene hit (September 26, 2024) and we just got power, but phone lines and internet are not stable and cut off in the middle of calls and we have issues uploading documents. I called gm about the issue yesterday and they said because my VIN is not on the recall list that I have to pay for my car to be towed ($89 hook up fee plus $8 per mile) and I have to pay for any repairs. The airbag needs to be replaced as well because it has not been replaced due to the dealership saying they had not received the part and the appointment would be cancelled, so I quit making an appointment to have the driver's side air bag replaced.
Engine reduced, traction control, and stabilitytrak lights came on 11/3/2023. Car died on me while I was sitting in traffic. Took car to firestone on 11/9. They stated car needed oil change and tune up. On 11/17/2023 while in the line at a drive through lights came on again and car died in drive thru. Car was towed back to firestone. Firestone said it was pulling codes they didn't know and the car needed to go a Buick dealer. Towed car to bob brown Buick on 11/24/2023 bob brown said car just needed a battery. After one hour the car lights popped on again and car died in the middle of the street. Towed car back to bob brown another diagnosis was completed and was told I needed a catalyst converter. Towed car to midas and paid another diagnosis. Midas fixed 3 gaskets and sensors. Car died again driving down the street going 35mph almost causing an accident. This electrical problem is very dangerous and unsafe.
Traveled and car begin to shake when I got to destination. The shift gears lights started going from neutral to low gear and my speed began to drop down even when I was accelerating. The engine light came on and the stabilitrak light was on during times I stop at lights or stop lights only when in traffic but not on the highway. After seen by an auto service dealer, the stabilitrak light still comes on during stops at the light or stop signs and hesitation to accelerate with a heaviness to steer. There appears to be a dragging or pull when accelerating not very smooth. The service was with the transmission, however, no attempt to fix the stabilitrak and now I am to take it back in, not really enjoying my vehicle, my american vehicle, this really saddens me.
I was driving and the other person ran the stop light and hit my car making me go in and hit another car from the other side.
Within 90 days of purchasing my used 2014 Buick Enclave the alert came on telling me to have the air bag serviced. It was within the 90 warranty from the used dealership so at no cost they took it in and then let me know it was a recall issue the dealership had to address. After almost a week I got my vehicle back and “all was corrected” for a month or so. Then one day it just came back on again. It decides when it will alert me at random. But I do not see it listed as a recall because it was “repaired”. Twice now when I have been on a long road trip and have been driving for more than 5 hours my sensor for my tires will start alerting me to have my tire sensors serviced. Once the vehicle has been restarted it seems to reset itself.
On June, 4th, 2021 in the morning I went to markham park with my 13 year old daughter for the covid vaccine. We arrived and right after the shot on her we stopped our Tesla in a line where we should wait for about 15/20 minutes to see if everything was fine with my daughter. While the car was stopped in the line, I was talking to my daughter and the car started moving in the direction of the car in front of us and it hit the car many time till I turned the steering wheel to go away from there. Everything was very fast and confusing. I`m still trying to understand what happened with the car. The car was out of control and the car never tried to break or stop. I think it has stopped because I pressed the p button. I am so frightened and scared about what happened. My daughter and I, the passengers in the car in front of us and the people in the park could have been seriously injured. I opened a report at Tesla in the same day.
Tl-the contact owns a 2010 Buick Enclave equipped with hankook tires, tire line dynapro hp2,tire size unknown. Dot# unknown. The contact stated that one of the tires would lose pressure over time. The contact would have it check for leaks but the situation would reoccur again . The contact had the tires rotated but the tire issue occurred again several times. The tire mechanic finally discovered a crack in the tires. The contact called to the manufacturer who finally called the contact back and said that the tire should be under warranty and to check the other tires. The manufacturer had not yet called back the contact to let him know if they will replace the tires. The failure mileage was 107,000 and 4,000 miles on the tires.
I purchased the car in August 2015. Less than a week after buying it, I had issues with wheels as it wiggles and is not stable regardless of the type of road I am in. The dealership needed to realign the wheels. And it's been happening all the time that they needed to realign the wheels almost every time I have an oil change done. On top of it, the wheels also loses air pressure too often. It is also very difficult to accelerate from stop as car seems wanting to go to a different direction. It has been happening for the past 3 years and I was not aware of this site. It is still happening.
19" chrome clad aluminum wheels constant leak air. Tires must be inflated every 3 to four days. Not safe for wife or daughter to have to get tires inflated when on vacation or away from home. Purchased an air compressor for home use due to the inconvenience of inlating tires so often.
Tire will not keep pressure at all. Goodyear fortera hl.
I bought my 2014 Buick Enclave at the end of may and had it in the shop at the beginning of December, after putting 3000 miles on it, for power steering issues, (noise and vibration) and it turns out the needed to replace the pump but were not comfortable with the design, while they were looking at it they said they needed to also replace a ball joint. Then in mid Jan. The noise started again, I had it checked and they said it was from the cold, well that became untrue as it became worse in the next few weeks (noise and vibration as I was turning) and I brought it in again 3-7-2018 and sure enough the same problem is there!! so the mechanic has to figure out a different solution by calling the Buick dealer. I am extremely disappointed with this as this is my first "new" vehicle I bought, very unhappy!! Buick needs to recall and find a fix for all these problems!.
All four tires have premature sidewall cracks and cracks between the tread pattern. The vehicle has the original four michelin latitude tour tires. The mileage is 28790 at the time identified by the local Buick dealership during a general inspection. I contacted michelin customer service on December 31, 2016. Problem not resolved.
My original michelin latitude tour 255/60r 19 was recalled. However my dot is off by maybe 8 months. Issue was defect insidewall. Perforation etc. I have the wexact same issue yet my production dates are not included. Please help me. These are original insalled tires and my car has 19,1000 miles and all 4 tires have this same severe cracking on all sidewalls. Michelin wont consider to include mine in the recall because they said only the number from 1913 to 2113 are in the recall. I have the same issue with my same brand tyoe tires too. I cannot afford to spend $1000 on tires (which has the same defect but have not been recalled. Please help.
While highway driving at about 65 mph in our new 2016 Buick Enclave with about 319 odometer miles the left front tire sensor came on indicating to add air. Within approximately 30 seconds the tire blew out. After I was able to cross lanes to stop on the right shoulder aaa was able to come change the tire with the small spare. We then proceeded to the Buick dealer and had the tire and wheel inspected and repaired. The service manager told us the the tire pressure sensor had come off the valve stem causing the stem to come out which in turn caused the rapid tire deflation. This event could have resulted in a serious accident with injuries or death. The service manager said he was not aware of any valve stem tire pressure sensor issues like this happening before. However, in my research some Chrysler models appear to have a number of similar complaints.
All my tires keep getting low and check light engine keeps showing low tire pressure. I took it in to three different tire places they dont know what the problem is. Im constantly airing my tires everyday from summer throughout winter and its exhausting.
I just had my transmission repaired, cost me my savings, and a known issue with many owners. Now the power steering is caput. Have to waist my precious time and money on taking the car to the shop again. There is already a class action law suite for this exact issue. Shame on GMC for producing such poor quality car.
At approximately 18000 miles I noticed that my michelin tires had small cracks in them. Since they were not worrisome at that time, I just decided to keep an eye on my tires, for bulges or larger cracks. I recently had my tires replaced, less than 40000 miles on them because I was getting ready to go on a road trip and didn't want to take the chance. My tires were heavily cracked and one was losing air daily. I first contacted gm directly (prior to replacing the tires) to see if they were under warranty or known defective/recall items. When I spoke to the dealer about the tires being defective, they insisted the tires were not defective, that michelin adds silica to their tires in the manufacturing process and the silica addition does not do well in hot/dry climates. They indicated that because michelin does add silica on purpose the tires are not defective. My argument is that the tires are defective if they do not maintain their integrity in all climates. My Buick dealership did not honor the Buick warranty. Ref NHTSA id number 10543165, as I am not the only customer with the problem and tire integrity is a very important safety feature on vehicles. This needs to be investigated and a recall issued. I replaced my tires with goodyear tires at just under $900. On a $50,000 car, having to replace tires before 3 years / 40,000 miles is unacceptable. Just in case gm looks at these complaints. You have lost a loyal customer. I've bought 6 brand new gm cars and one slightly used gm car. Half of those cars have had problems, why I have remained a loyal customer, who knows. . .
The contact owns a 2008 Buick Enclave. The contact stated that while traveling 55 mph, the engine seized without warning. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where the contact was advised that the engine would need replacing. The vehicle was not repaired. In addition, the contact stated that there was an abnormal white substance on the wheels that could not be removed. The dealer did not have a recommendation or a remedy for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not available. The failure and the current mileage was 82,000.
Substained a flat tire on Jan 18th 2011 and when I went to look for the spare it was not there. Called dealer and I was told the spare was optional on the 2010 Enclave cx I brought new. How many Enclave driver realize they do not have a spare?.
The contact owns a 2008 Buick Enclave. The vehicle was taken for routine maintenance when the technician attempted to add air to the front passenger side tire but the fragments of the tire pressure monitoring system detached from the vehicle. The rear driver side tire pressure monitoring system was also fractured. The vehicle was taken to a tire shop for repair. The approximate failure mileage was 74,000.
Got into a major accident two cars ran into my vehicle and everyone was injured and the air bags did not come on to prevent that. I have insurance and police report that states this.
