This car is not mine but someone somehow fraudulently registered it in my name. I got the VIN # from truth finder when I did a search on myself. Please help.
The painting on my 2015 Buick Encore started peeling about 2 years ago and has continued to worsen, and I am concerned about the longevity and overall appearance of my vehicle. As a loyal customer, I expect the paint job to last for a reasonable amount of time, and I believe this issue should be addressed by the manufacturer. I would like to request that Buick fixes this issue free of charge. I understand that my vehicle is no longer under warranty. This is particularly concerning as the peeling paint is affecting the resale value of my car, and I would like to maintain its value as much as possible. I understand that paint issues can occur, and I appreciate that this is not necessarily a reflection on the overall quality of the vehicle. However, I am requesting that Buick take responsibility for this issue and repair the paint free of charge. I believe that the paint peeling issue is covered under the vehicle's warranty, and I hope that I am hopeful that Buick will make every effort to keep this cost to a minimum and to ensure that I am not left out of pocket for a problem that is beyond my control.

My drivers side door began to have a few small bubbles around the handle. I took it in and found out the door was rusting from the inside. Rain was getting in and rusting the sound bar. I paid $350 only to find out that the bubbles began to reappear in a few days. When the Buick dealer took it back it, they discovered the problem. They said it was rusting inside the the door and that I needed a new door and that it was covered under corrosion. I want my $350 back due to the fact that it was covered and I never should have to pay $350.

After driving the Encore for 30 minutes then making stops at different places a few minutes apart, when the car is started there is a smell of gas inside the car. Does not happen when starting the Encore for the first time of the day. I was inside the store from 5 minutes to 30 minutes, has happened several days now.
This vehicle has a keyless ignition system. Twice my wife accidentally turned off the vehicle, once at a stop, the other time on a freeway at 70 mph. She was unaware the vehicle could be started in neutral thinking she needed to be in park. The vehicle continued coasting allowing her to move to the side of the freeway. There she was able to put the vehicle in park, press on the brake and restart the car. She did not realize the vehicle engine was off until she. Pressed on the gas to maintain speed. She panicked and turned to me as an engineer with 40 years in the automotive industry. I kept her calm and instructed her what to do. Only when we were on the side of the road did we determine she had accidentally turned off the engine when tuning the radio. With no warning or indication the engine was off the results could have been catastrophic. Her colleague at work also did this in his Lexus. The proximity of the start\stop button to other similar controls appears to be a factor in these incidents. No warning from the vehicle not notice from the manufacturer of the sales dealership of this possibility and what to do does not prepare the driver for when this occu.
We had just left the grocery store, my wife was driving, and less than a mile into our trip home something failed behind the instrument panel of the car that caused hot liquid (coolant?) to pour onto my lower leg and foot in the passenger side front foot well. The vehicle had only been running for a couple of minutes and the coolant wasn't at its full operating temperature, so the burn was no worse than a coffee spill and didn't cause significant injury. If the vehicle had fully warmed up and the coolant was 200+ degrees, I would have been burned very badly. I just want gm to know that this happened so that maybe they can put something in place to prevent this before someone gets severely burned .
My car was in motion going approximately 45-50 mph when it hit a stationary vehicle on the highway. I was able to hit my brakes but still hit the car in almost full force, head on. Both my car and the car I hit are totaled, and I was taken by ambulance to the hosputal after, but my airbags did not go off.
I purchased 2016 Encore on 5/7/16. While on a 300 mile road trip on 7/2 /16 notice the exhausted pipe was melted to the bumper took pictures. Called the number to extended warranty and they weren't able to help me due to holiday weekend. Drove it back home stop every hour to make sure it wasn't going to start my car on fire. Took it to the dealership the next day 7/ 5 I told them I don't feel safe in the vehicle. They said why would look into what cause it. The dealership has there own picture this incident in not in dispute. They said GMC been contacted and no other incident has been reported. They gave me a loaner on 7/5 the mechanic manager said he put the vehicle on lift doesn't see anything wrong with it he said he will have his very mechanic look at it on 7/6 called that day to update me that GMC is involved and will keep me informed. Called me on 7/7 with same updated that they are still looking into it. On 7/12 called back and said they could not duplicated the problem. So it was decided to replace part of the bumper and return the vehicle to me I stress that I don't feel safe with this vehicle I'm about to drive to florida in a couple of week and the problem happen on a long distance and not short distances. Called customer service and was told the dealership is not going to help me out. I ask if they could give me documentation to what they found and he said no cause we couldn't duplicate the problem. That was eight days ago I haven't heard from them since 7/12. I called customer service back on 7/20 and she told me that the dealership is fixing the bumper and giving it back to me. I feel this is a brand new vehicle and this should not have happen and seem like a factory defect that they want to put a band aid and send me on my way. I asked customer service did they take it on a long ride to test it out and she could not answer the question.
