The contact owns a 2005 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated that the vehicle doors locked unexpectedly. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.

2 Door problem

Failure Date: 05/05/2005

Purchased the car in March of 05, have had it in a total of 24 days for service, on about 10 different occasions. The front doors leaked badly in the rain. They have since been adjusted, had new seals put in, bondo applied at a body shop. Then Buick replaced both doors with new factory doors. These also leaked. They were adjusted and bondo was applied to the new doors. They required multiple adjustments as well. Now the doors feel like they drop a quarter inch when you open them and there is a lot of wind noise.
