On my 2006 Buick Lacrosse, at about 48k miles there was a loud clicking noise from under the hood. . . . . Luckily I was still under warranty because it was a cracked flywheel (flex plate). . . . . . I go on my happy way and about 10 months later I have the same problem. . . . And since I am over the mileage portion of the part warranty, gm refused to cover it 100%. . . . . . Ok, I realize its technically out of warranty, but there is nothing that I can do to that car to cause the flywheel to crack. . . Something is making this happen and gm refuses to refund me. I spent hours and hours on the phone with gm. . . .
