Tl-the contact owns a 2006 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated while driving approximately 70 mph, the lower beam headlights burnt out, and the instrument cluster became intensely dense without warning. The failure recurred on 5 occasions. The vehicle was taken to a independent mechanic that the electrical system needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 200,000. Sh.

2 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 03/22/2015

I had to be to work by 6:00 am on the date of the incident. I entered my vehicle at 5:30 to leave and discovered upon ignition that the low beam headlamps were out of service. After checking the fuses under the hood and finding no issues, I was forced to make my 20 minute/9 mile drive using the high beams for visibility (with no daylight). The low beam headlamps remain out of service. (note: low beam bulbs were replaced approximately two months ago).

3 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 12/30/2014

Tl-the contact owns 2006 Buick Lacrosse. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 14v755000 (visibility) however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer had not been made of aware of the issue. The contact had not expierenced a failure. 4 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 12/14/2014

Tl- the contact owns a 2006 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated that he experieneced an intermitent failure of low beams for the past one year. He stated that he drove with high beams at night. The contact, who also received notification of NHTSA campaign id number: 14v355000 (electrical sysytems), took the vehicle to a local dealer who diagnosed a defective headlight module but stated that the VIN was not in the hdm recall. The failure mileage was 77,000. Fe.
