2007 Buick Lacrosse. Consumer is seeking a reimbursement for defective goodyear tires purchased for vehicle. The consumer stated good year tires were purchased under the impression that they were new. United tire of downingtown informed the consumer the tired would not pass state inspection as they were dry-rotted and cracked. The consumer believed the tires to be 2-3 years old upon purchase. The consumer stated the tires were worn after 29,504 miles when they should have had a life span of 65,000 miles. The consumer requested to be reimbursed for 54. 6% of the purchase price cost.

2 Tire problem

Failure Date: 10/16/2007

The contact owns a 2007 Buick Lacrosse. The vehicle has goodyear tires, size p/225/60/r16 (na). The contact noticed that the front passenger side tire would sporadically lose pressure. As a result, she experienced excessive shaking in the wheel while driving at various speeds. She took the vehicle to the dealer on numerous occasions and they rotated, inspected, and balanced the tires. As of August 18, 2008, the dealers have been unsuccessful in remedying the failure. The failure mileage was 10,000 and current mileage mileage was 18,210.
