The contact stated that upon pulling into a parking space the vehicle independently surged forward, went over a concrete piece and partially crashed into part of a tree. A police report was not filed. The air bags did not deploy. The driver did not sustain any major injuries. The vehicle was not inspected and diagnosed to determine the failure but the dealer was notified when the incident happened. The dealer did not indicate if they would report the failure to the manufacturer to send a technician to investigate the failure.
