After removing his foot from the brake pedal the stop/start feature failed to activate. The contact used the push to start button and restarted the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who was unable to duplicate the failure. The failure persisted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 45,000.
