The contact owns 2022 Nissan rouge. The contact stated that her husband was driving the vehicle when the engine failed. The contact stated that her husband was driving on the highway at 65 when the vehicle began to shake and then experienced a complete loss of automotive power, and the check engine warning light was illuminated, prompting the contacts husband to pull over and have the vehicle towed to a local dealer where it was diagnosed and the contact was advised that the engine was faulty as a result of metal shavings found in the oil pan and that it would need to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 57,000.
