The part of the driver seat belt that goes under the seat and is attached by a metal cable. The cable totally ripped apart. The date is approximate because I did not notice it until it was almost completely broken off. . I had the seatbelt repaired at the dealer mangino Buick in ballston spa new york, at the sum of $300they said gm refused to cover it. I tried to explain that this is a safety issue not a warranty item. This never happens.

Car has 500 miles on it. Driver seat belt will not release. Have to push pull numerous times for about 2-4 minutes to get belt to release to attach. Then with certain movement belt will lock you in position, no room to move upper torso. Told by dealer and Buick that the part is not releasable, only a production part. It has been sitting at dealership for over 3 weeks, still waiting on belt assembly. Dealer claims that they can only wait on gm, yet dealer is sending me info on their gret customer service and sales. Salesman contacted me and wanted to know how am I enjoying new vehicle--told him to look out his window where it has been sitting for last 3 weeks. Also driver side wiper arm was hitting a pillar when in operation, vehicle was in shop to get this and defective paint on bumper for 1 week. With seat belt issue this is getting close to 1 month.

On the way home from a celebration in our town, I hit a deer. I immediately heard a loud couple of bangs, not just from the impact and smoke was coming out from the steering column and glovebox. Onstar called immediately and said that my airbags had deployed and they asked if I needed help. The concern is that the airbags fired but did not deploy.

I started my car. I buckled my seat belt the seat belt warning light light and chimes stopped in a few seconds. I then unbuckled my seat belt to pull a piece of paper from my front pocket. When I buckled my seat belt again, the seat belt warning light and chimes failed to stop blinking and chiming. It has been a week now and the problem still exists. What should I do? please advise.
