One problem related to other fuel system hoses lines/piping, and fittings has been reported for the 1998 Buick Lesabre. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Flexible hose line from gas pump, next to the rear right wheel, was resting against the sharp metal edge of the heat shield which mounted above and in front of the muffler, design defect, possible failure due to chaffing.
