The consumer has also experienced the engine skipping due to defective wires, a failure with the head gasket and valve cover. The engine became non-repairable and consumer had to have it replaced.
2000 Buick Lesabre developed worn piston rings. The consumer noticed that the vehicle was using excessive amounts of oil (1 quart every 600 miles). The manufacturer reimbursed the consumer for the repairs.
