Wheel Problems of Buick Lesabre

Drove to the store, transmission was hard shifting and then wouldn't hardly move at all. Almost got hit three x!! very tramatized. How is it that on just one of many web pages 400 people had this problem 140 complained about it! that's just one website! how has this problem not been fixed and recalled?.

Trip check showed: fuel leak under engine cover, front wheel drive shaft oil leaking fluid, power steering leaking fluid. Air bag light came on after the horn was hit hard, after about 20 minutes it went of, technician couldn't find anything wrong with it.

Tl-the contact owns a 1990 Buick Lesabre. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 40 mph the contact was trying to make a right turn and the vehicle locked. When stopping on dry pavement the anti-lock brake sensor failed. After that the anti-lock breaks would not engage. Every time I applied my breaks the car would shimmie and was dangerous to controll, I paid for the repair but it has happened four time since then making it dangerous to stop.

2000 Lesabre tire and rim broke from the axle. The vehicle sustained damage to the r/r quarter panel, tire, rim, right passenger door, right rear passenger door.

The contact owns a 2001 Buick Lesabre. The contact stated that the center of the wheels had a tight fit over the center axle and if the wheels were not taken off frequently, rust would form. He stated that the wheels had to be forced off of the vehicle since there was not enough "free play" to separate the tire from the wheel. He was concerned that if he had a flat tire, he would not be able to remove the wheel to install the spare tire. The contact called the manufacturer but was offered no assistance. 2002 Buick lasabre limited has aluminum alloy wheels that are seriously corroding at the sealing rim causing a serious loss of tire air pressure. We had to pay our Buick dealer to clean and epoxy coat the wheels to stop the leaking. It failed to resolve the problem. We have to check the tire air pressure every day or 150 miles or the tires can become so deflated that they are unsafe. This issue is just as serious as the Ford explorer/firestone tire issue and no one at Buick or gm will admit they have a problem.

Both front wheels were cracked. The dealer was contacted, and the wheels were not under warranty. The wheels were original and made of aluminum.

Aluminum wheel porous & tire lost about 3lbs air in two weeks. In arizona it is over 100 f, 5 months of the year. Gas stations are 40 miles apart. Consumer feels dealers repair with sealant is not a long term repair.
