Two problems related to front seat belt buckle assembly have been reported for the 1997 Buick Park Avenue. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Lap belt buckle does not function properly, being difficlt to be released from buckle anchor.
Consumer contacted dealer regarding recall no 00v117000/ manufacturer's recall 00039, dealer corrected the problem consumer noticed shoulder belt was locking when making any slight movement. The driver side seat belt is still does not retract.
