Three problems related to brake disc rotor have been reported for the 1998 Buick Park Avenue. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The front disc pads, rear brake rotors and rear calipers had to be replaced on a two-year-old car with only 38,500 miles on it. Before the brakes were fixed, the car would shake so badly it felt like it was going to fall apart.
Have had rotors resurfaced 3x and replaced 2x. 1st time was at 5877 mi last one 27626.
Severe vibration when braking. Vibrations felt in steering and passenger seating. This 3 year old vehicle has only 25,000 miles. The brake rotors should not be defective at such a low mileage.
