Emission Control problems of the 1998 Buick Park Avenue

1 Emission Control problem

Failure Date: 07/14/2004

Anti-freeze leak through the upper intake manifold past the egr valve and throttle body, engine ran hot, hydrostatic engine lock. Car had to be towed, upper intake manifold had to be replaced, spark plugs, and thermostat. Otal cost $685. 75.

2 Emission Control problem

Failure Date: 03/31/2001

4/12/2007. 1998 Buick park Ave. Air flow sensor failed.
