The contact owns a 2000 Buick Park Avenue. The contact stated that while accelerating from a traffic stop, a vehicle crashed into the contact¿s driver¿s side door at 45 mph. The driver's side air bag failed to deploy. The contact¿s head was thrown into the windshield, causing a loss of consciousness. The contact sustained back, head and bodily injuries. A police report was filed. The manufacturer investigated the air bag failure and concluded that the air bag was not impacted in the proper area to warrant deployment. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not available. The failure and current mileage was 52,000.

Air Bag Not Deploy problem #2

While driving another vehicle ran a red light and hit consumer's vehicle on driver's side. Upon impact, driver's side air bag failed to deploy. Vehicle almost flipped over after being "t" boned. Passenger was treated for severe injuries, but driver was not injured. Dealer has been contacted.
