Failure Date: 11/05/2013

Tl- the contact owns a 2001 Buick Park Avenue. The contact stated that while the vehicle was idle they noticed fluid had leaked on the ground. The contact stated approximately a year ago the vehicle had an abnormal odor in the vehicle. The failure happened without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was confirmed there was an oil leak and it had leaked on the manifold causing the abnormal odor. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact was made aware of recall 15v701000 (engine and engine cooling) however the vehicle's VIN and make were not included. The vehicle failure mileage was approximately 135,000. Kh.
