1 Equipment problem of the 1996 Buick Park Avenue

Failure Date: 04/20/2021

Sub-frame rust is severe where 2 at front of the engine mounting bushings all have rust, but the worst are the ones supporting the transmission -under the transmission, 2 have almost no metal frame and engine/transmission could drop down, as seen on some of the you tube videos. Inspected and find the engine appears to have dropped some. . . There is a gap where the steering wheel cover connects to the drive. This is a self inspection after replacing the stabilizing bar end link, had to be replaced.

My problem is, the left blinker of the front, back and headboard is not working. But if I put on my flashers, all my lights are working, including the left blinker. I took it in and they told me that its not the light bulb, and its not the fusers from both the front and the headboard fuses boxes, and I've been told by research and the mechanic that this is not a new problem and its been an occurring issue for the 1997-2005 Buick Park Avenue.

6 Equipment problem of the 2001 Buick Park Avenue

Failure Date: 08/07/2014

On 4 separate occasions and while traveling at speed around 50-65 miles per hour my car would just shut off. I would loose power steering and it would be hard to operate the vehicle. The last time this happened I was on a major freeway and had to pull over as cars would just drive by at 60 miles per hour or faster. I think it is ridiculous that my car is not included in the recall. This is a major safety issue and if I or my family would have been hurt or killed I am sure gm would add more cars to the recall. Why should I have to wait for a tragic incident to happen. I took my car to a shop and they informed me that is was the ignition issue due to the pk3 security system gm has on this car.

8 Equipment problem of the 1995 Buick Park Avenue

Failure Date: 09/07/1997

The gear shifter does not shift in to the correct selected gears. The prefabrication was not done correctly on the bottom rocker panels, that caused them to rust prematurely. The paint is just peeling off the top and the hood of the car. 8 years after I purchased the vehicle, gm dealer parts became unavailable. I have kept my car in immaculate condition. I have all my service records and receipt's from the day I purchased the car to this very day!!! I still have the car to this day. If there wasn't a recall there should have been. Especially for the gear shifter and rocker panels. . . ???? also the horn pad had a defect with the springs under the horn pad. Gear shifter occurred most of the time while trying to shift the car in to one gear or another. The horn was pad was replaced when I purchased the car. I was driving and no horn. It is a very nice car but who ever help put it together had to be on something??? my 1995 Park Avenue has always been garage kept. It only has 167,787 miles on it. Never driven in winter until 2014.
