Two problems related to tank assembly have been reported for the 1996 Buick Regal. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Whenever the fuel tank is filled, it would leak. Leakage is occurring along the seam of fuel tank due to corrosion. Once filled & driving away, fuel vapors can be smelled inside the vehicle.
Twice when vehicle was parked facing downhill the vehicle could not be started the following morining, when the fuel tank is less than 1/4 full.
