Two problems related to transmission slip out of gear have been reported for the 1996 Buick Regal. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving at 60mph, and in the process of passing another vehicle, transmission slipped out of gear and went into neutral, and engine accelerated. Contacted dealer, and was told that they couldn't find the cause.
