Two problems related to fuel hoses lines/piping and fittings have been reported for the 1999 Buick Regal. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
- the contact was driving about 30 mph when he smelled gas fumes. The contact stated that vehicle had a cut fuel line back near the firewall. The gas spilled on the engine, there was no fire. The contact took the car to the dealer, and they could not tell him why it had happened. The heated seat relay was replaced. Updated 02/09/07.
The vehicle brake line and fuel line rusted. As a result the brakes failed completely. Please provide additional information.
