Tl- the contact owns a 2003 Buick Regal. The contact stated that while descending down a hill at approximately 25 mph the vehicle suddenly shut off. The contact indicated that the engine could not be restarted. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the ignition switch was faulty. The ignition switch was replaced and the failure was remedied. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 113,000. Jft.
