I purchased 2011 Buick Regal 2011 cxl turbo #7. Since then, I have experienced serious difficulties with am/fm/xm stereo system with navigation and 40gb hard drive it is problematic, and it was challenging to get adequate directions, because of its poor quality of map data. A trip taken twice a year I felt a build in navigation system would be more secure and accurate. Road network attributes are contained in the map database the map database did not include data for old constructed areas or long term point of interest. This is a safety issues for the driver and occupants. I was given wrong directions and directed to far location when a closer location was available since updated information was not included.
Security light comes on issuing other problems gages on dash not working. Blinking on and off anti theft light on. Secutity light stays on. . As a result on research this automobile has this issue and no one has done anything about it its clear that there should be a recall for gm automobiles with electrical issues. This usually occurs when raining or humid. Also results on not being able to start car. Until it drys or sun comes out.

1998 Buick Regal w/ 3. 8l engine. Had recall issue fixed March 2011. Vehicle caught fire after driving up to our local mountains. Fire began after vehicle was turned off, as we were getting our children out of the car. The fire began at the spark plug wires, continued up the wire assembly to the fuel lines and burned through fuel lines. Immediately had to disconnect battery, since fuel lines were spewing gas at the fire. We were able to put fire out with snow on the brushy hillside we were parked beside. Filed claim with gm. They denied it due to car's age, and claimed they have no responsibility after the car is 4 years old. Their recall fix did not work. The car still caught on fire anyway with my family inside.
During the day the speedometer and gas gauge are not readable during the day. Difficult to view instrument panel cluster (ipc) display when driving toward bright sunshine.
1. Right side cornering lamp is inoperative despite replacing bulb, socket and even entire right side headlamp housing assembly with all new wiring and bulbs in it (not the turn signal because that works and so do all headlight functions I. E. High/low beam). 2. When above issue started car suddenly started shutting off whenever turn signals where used when passing or trying to enter highway on entrance ramp regardless of if we were speeding up or slowing down. It has also happened at a complete stand still while local mechanic was investigating complaint regarding all the above and he is still not able to find the cause. I am afraid to let my family ride in this vehicle and I am afraid it will cost us a fortune trying to figure out what is causing this unsafe issue!.
Instrument panel cluster (ipc) display is difficult to see when driving toward bright sunshine. This condition does not affect the ipc operation. This condition could be caused by an insufficient color contrast in the ipc display and by insufficient ambient light reaching the cluster face due to deep tunnels around the ipc gauges. Driver's side floor mat does not stay in place when stepped on during exit/entry or durng the course of driving. Mat can become lodged under brake pedal resulting in reduced braking ability in emergency situations. Contacted dealership, demonstrated problem, as told that no fix exists. Contacted corporate and explained danger, was told that mats are functioning as they should, no repair exists. I am a forensic accident reconstructionist and have seen the results of floormats becoming dislodged and hampering emergency braking attempts.
I went to the gas station and then went to my parents house where I parked my car. This was all of about 6 miles. I went into my parents house and was watching tv when my dad came in and said come here quick. . . Your car's on fire. I couldn't believe it. It was working fine when I went to the store and then it caught on fire out of the blue. There was a recall in April 2009 on my car due to engine compartment fires. I took it to john l. Sullivan in January 2010 to have the recall work done at no charge. Yet, my car caught on fire anyway. I filed a complain with gm motors who denied my claim stating the breach of warranty statute of limitations had expired per California state law. However, federal law states I am entitled to a free and "effective" remedy for this situation. Obviously, the remedy was not effective. I want gm to fix my car immediately!!!!!! federal law should override any state law. I am very lucky I was not in the car when the flames erupted. I am also very lucky it was not parked in my garage or something where my house could have caught fire. There were absolutely no indications that anything was wrong with my car.
1998 Buick Regal. Consumer writes in regards to recall notice the consumer stated he no longer owns the vehicle as it was totaled in an accident due to being hit by a drunk driver. However, the consumer continues to receive recall letters regarding the vehicle.
The vehicle has had 14 power window mechanisms replaced and the windows continue to be a problem. 14 replacements in one car, this can't be the only vehicle in which this is occuring.
We have experienced starter mishaps off and on since we bought this vehicle when we turned the engine off, it would continue to run until key was removed. On 01/17/11, my Buick Regal 2011 engine warning light was on. I took it to dealer service where I bought it (lake GMC/Buick of lake elsinore CA, to investigate. Their findings: gas cap caused engine light warning. The cap was replaced per the service adviser (sandy). On 01/20/11, my wife left work in ontario CA around 5pm and drove onto the frwy I-15 s towards lake elsinore. Suddenly while driving, the engine shut down. My wife coasted to the side. She called on star and they sent for a tow truck. The car was towed to christopher Chrysler in ontario CA. On 01/ 21/11,Friday pm. Christopher service adviser (nubo) called me on mon 01/24/11 to say that they found a faulty starter switch but he wanted to check out another potential problem an after market device (low-jack) was attached to the starter and he thought that it may also be causing problems. He said that he had to run more checks and verify findings with upper mgt. He said he would keep the vehicle another day. On 01/25/11, at 8:30 am, nubo called me and said that the problem (starter switch) was fixed and car is ready to pick up. I asked nubo is that the only problem? he said yes, and that they reconnected the load-jack and feel it wasn't part of the problem after driving with it attached. I asked if he was sure that we won't have any more problems and he said we shouldn't have any problems. I told nube that my wife is very anxious and afraid that she will break down on the frwy again. Nubo didn't comment anymore. I told him that my wife will pick up the car after 5pm this day.
My instrument panel cluster is so dim during the day I can't tell how fast I'm going. . . My previous 2009 Buick lucerne had a bulletin for instrument panel back light replacement.

I own a 1998 Buick Regal LS. When it rains, water drips down from behind the glove box and onto the passenger floor. In one particularly heavy rainfall, there was 2 inches of standing water on the floor of the passenger side. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Large pieces of paint came off the hood of my car.
The front brakes failed to release. The pads were not worn, however, they were unglued. . The dealer informed the consumer the glue on the brakes wad defective.

Due to design, top of dash board reflects in windshield which then reflects in eyes, causing poor visibility.
Design of the interior contains a panel above the brake pedal that prevents a smooth quick motion from the accelerator to the brake pedal.
