After the car sitting in the sun, driving in slow traffic the car is running rough, the gas millage dropped, the brake making noise when you stop. When accelerate there is grinding noise. I pulled to the side and turn off the car for five minutes, I start the car and it run as normal. This was happening before for 2 month. Take it to the dealer 3 times, they advise there is nothing wrong. Last time they clean the bearings and it did not help. Finally they advise to replace the modular for the brake and the accelerator and it required remove the dash board and lot of labor time. They are not sure 100% it will work as it is not shown on the scan.

Gm recall number: 2030710 NHTSA recall number: 16v517 inoperative power seats, seat fires and seat heating module connector melting the dealership stated we would need to pay $700 to repair the passenger seat's inoperative motor before they could perform the recall. The other recall on this vehicle was not performed. Buick recall number: n120212 NHTSA recall number: 12v484 turn signal lamp outage indicator not working how should I proceed? thank you!.

Bought my car from a reputable dealer. The car was a fun toy for me to drive. My 2011 Regal apparently had has a transmission problem. The shop says needs a new transmission because everything is sealed and can't be serviced. Anyway multiple times I'm on the road and in town and the car drives okay, but as soon as merge onto the high way the car stalls. Heres what happens as soon as I merge onto the high way the rpm's go way up. The trassmission is stalled. The car won't accelerate. Multiple times I've almost had an accident. The instrument cluster has "d" flashing and engine light is off. I pull over the side of the road turn the car off, and then restart the car and then it works again. This sucks. It honestly a 50 50 chance the car transmission will stall when I merge onto the highway. I feel this is a recall issue. Manny people have complained about this recently around the same millage of mine. Around 100,000 miles. Only problem is Buick takes blame on the same problem with the enclave,but not the Regal. What a shame.

Second time around my Buick Regal caught on fire as it sat in driveway my car has been a VIN that fit the saftey recall since 2007 3rd or 4th one since I bought my car from dealership my car has 5 recalls which 3 are recall campaign so dealer fixed only part of the recall in Feb 18 2016 I was sent another safety recall letter asking me to go back to get extra work done or newer parts dealer said no so now it's September 25/26 2017 and fire happens again this time was a bigger issue had firedepartment called out all the flames came from under the beauty cover and valve cover leak which was a recall for several years they fixed with better parts but still have a fire dealership said no get my car out there shop and agm tells me sorry can't do anything for u because my car 2002 old no warranties but it's a saftey recall almost every year since my car was bought no parts available not sure y I get only half recall done and not do the full recall correctly there for they should be help responsible for the fire since they never took my cover off they were very aware of that I can't do anything for this issue I have had 7 claims since first time car on fire Jan 6 2016 and claim #11 claim story for NHTSA called everyone I could even my local news but no one will help me because it's a fight against gm it's so wrong not fair that this happens to people I don't want money or big deal I just want a car that doesn't catch fire every year I need help please !!! also I would like more info on what campaign means for the situation !?.

I received a letter dated November 2015 that there could be a defect in my throttle position sensor. The symptoms were that the car ran rough, reduced power, engine light, etc. As soon as I received this letter, and while my car was still under factory warranty, I took the car in to the dealer and they said there was nothing wrong with my vehicle. There was but I continued to drive. I then made several other calls to gm until finally the car began to really show sings of a malfunction. It is stalling while driving down the road. It lunges forward with great force nearly sending my daughter and I through a store front window. Then it just started stalling every couple feet. All of the symptoms pointed to the throttle position sensor. I went to auto zone and o'reilleys and they both came up with the same codes p0420 and p0301 which leads to the throttle position sensor but the dealership said if a specific code didn't come up, then it wouldn't be covered. Of course they said the code didn't come up and that I would owe them for the diagnostic plus they told me it was lunging forward because of the oil level. Now I'm not a mechanic nor a brain surgeon but I certainly do know that low oil levels will not cause a car to lunge forward. I asked the manager at ballas if he was "just going to let me walk out of there with a dangerous vehicle" and he said "there is nothing I can do". I've seen other complaints on line with the same problem. I paid $144 for them to do absolutely nothing to my car. If it were low on oil, why didn't they just add oil. No, they performed a whole oil change which I just had done less than a month ago. They kept saying "well, you didn't bring it here, you went somewhere else" so? gm needs to recall this part and make their dealerships replace it no questions asked before someone gets killed.

Ignition switch is failing, causing stalls, and flashing warning lights. Warning lights came on for just a second or 2 today while I was driving at highway speed. It stopped at a stop light and I had to start it. It killed in a garage, turning off the highway into a driveway, and so on. Evidently this is a problem in gm cars.

My vehicle issue is that the exhaust valves were bent due to a valve cover bolt that released and damaged head valves and head on motor. This is a factory issue due to the bolt releasing. I am being held responsible for vehicle and only owned vehicle for less then 2 years. For replacement head cost and or replacing the motor itself is a costly situation. My vehicle was parked in city limits and when attempting to start,would try to turn over but just keep spinning without full crank. I shouldn't be replacing the motor on vehicle that is still well under 100,000 miles and no major issue prior.

Now the car starts but runs too rough to even trust to drive it! why have the recall if it was going to catch fire anyways!.

While I was driving all the dashboard lights want out completely, the car didn't stop running. I got home and tried to get into the car two hours later and the doors would not open with the remote,so I use the key to enter the car, close the door and the alarm want off and the doors locked, I pressed down on the break and push in on the start button, the panel lite up said that the remote dose not match the car, I tried several ways to open the car it didn't do anything I was locked in the car for 30 minutes, the sunroof window was open a little it was 88 degrees outside I had to kick the the sunroof window out to get out of the car. The car is now at ferguson brick in tulsa as of right now the car started, they haven't found anything wrong I believed there is something wrong if they drive the car and the lights don't black out or it start when they have they are going to send that car back home in the same condition, this is a very serous issue I could have dead in that car with no air.

I have 2002 Buick Regal,had fixed for low coolant light sign problem several time by dealer, last repair was done 1-26-2016 by dealer and do not show any more low coolant sign of light, 20 days later my car stopped in the middle of road, I towed it to same dealer, dealer told me that transmission need to be replaced by verbal, I towed it to transmission shop and repaired and I complainted to state of CA, in Feb. 2016, I had recall notice from gm, I had recall service done by another gm dealer in March 2016, investigator from the state looked through my car in may 20 2016, investigator found the sign of low coolant light was not displayed when he turned engine on, every other signs of engine light displayed except low coolant sign of light, I paid $131. 00 to dealer where I had recall service donein may 27, 2016, I explained them all the service light displays but the low coolant light whe engine turned on, they told me that my car need new cluster and it will cost $1009. 00. My car drives smoothly and I have to buy coolant and pour it to radiator myself , check fluid level every day to be safe, this is very stressful and make me nervous to go out and enjoy my life,my car is only 14 years old and 68300 miles driven, I need mere investigation why dealer want me to change the whole cluster instead of little problem of mechanical wire connection ? or bulb ? I had problem with odor meter between 2013-2015 and dealer told me that it would cost $ 1000,00 but odor meter owner fixed with little charge, I need help! please. The other dealer sent me the check $ 409. 23 because investigator told them. I noticed the case number was different in the check, I told investigator about it and he told me it is ok to deposit the check so I did and cashed out.

I was driving down the highway with my grandchildren. I was going 50 miles an hour and all of a sudden no warning the car like stalled and reduced engine power light came on . Car stalled and I started it but wouldn't let me go anywhere! it was dangerous and could have gotten us killed! I called gm to report it for a safety recall. I had to pay $120 for a tow. Took to Buick dealer it was a screw that wasn't torque right on the timing chain. I had to pay $500 . I shouldn't had to pay anything. Now I no longer have the confidence in the name or my car. It runs rough and it starts terrible shaky. Only 50,000 miles on it. Can you imagine being on a highway and your car stalls. Thank god no one was behind me. I have receipts from tow company and the Buick dealer but they would not give me the papers to my vehicle. That had exactly what they did. So on my receipt it says miscellaneous! they refused to give me anything else. My car has 54,000 some miles. My warranty expired in February 2016 only had the car a little over a year. For some reason I could not put the mileage below.

Corrected. Note: the stabillitrak light came on after I started engine, and stayed on while I was driving for approximately 1/2 mile. (city street) shut off engine, and restarted lights went of. Problem not duplicated at service center.

We took our car in for recall repair on Wednesday April 6, 2016. When the dealer returned our car it cut off continuously. As a matter if fact it cut off while we were driving on a major busy street. We returned the car to the dealer explaining that this was not a problem when we brought the car in for the recall repairs. The dealer has had our car for a months and stated that it was something else and it would cost $400. We told the dealer we did not have $400. This is the third time we have brought our car to correct the problem. Our daughter went with us to the dealer and was told that they would cut half of the cost for repair and that our car would be ready Friday, may 6, 2016. The dealer still has our car and stated the part that was ordered did not fix the problem. We have not heard anything from the dealer as of today, Monday, may 9, 2016. We are senior citizens and was told not to drive the car and not to park it in the garage because it might catch on fire. We have been without our car since we received the recall letter and waiting on the part to arrive at the dealer. We are very frustrated and disappointed with the customer service we have received during this recall process. We have been inconvenienced and there has been no type of compensation offered for the inconvenience. Not a loaner car or rental car. We have had to cancel doctor's appointments because we have no car to drive. We are really contemplating legal actions.

There was a recall of the key and "fob" for 2010-2014 chevy camaros because the key could be bumped by someone's knee or some similar issue. The key of my 2011 Buick Regal broke, and I believe it has the same construction as the camaro. By broke I mean that the metal part the flips the key in and out the fob (when you press a button) actually broke, luckily while my wife was turning off the ignition. I therefore suspect that since the camaro and Buick are built by gm and probably share the same key/fob design, I'm experiencing the same problem as the drivers of the recalled camaros, and the key/fob of the 2011 Buick Regals should also be recalled.

Bought the vehicle on 2/28/2015 from rick hendrick Buick GMC in duluth GA. Around the beginning of June 2015 my air vent on the drive side was coming out of the dashboard. I took my vehicle to the dealer on 06/10/2015. They said they had to order a new one. I took the car back to the dealer on 6/13/2015 to get the vent replaced. Since then there has been a very strong ordor(smell) coming from the vents. It smells like a strong finger nail polish. Sometimes the smell gets way to strong and I have to roll the windows down. The smell happens at random times, at different places, and it only lasts for about 20 seconds each time it happens. Sometimes it happens multiple times while driving to work or long distances. I took my car to the dealer on 8/8/2015 and they looked under the car, cabin filter and for leaks. They took the vehicle for a 10 minute max test drive and could not duplicate the smell. I called the gm Buick executive office at 866-636-2273 on 8/11/2015 at 5:44pm and filed a complaint about the smell. They stated I would get a call from the customer service manager at the dealer within 2 business days. On 8/19/2015 at 5:31pm and was told I had to speak with my case worker, was transferred to a voice mail, and left a voice mail. I still to this date have not received a phone call. Also the defroster is not working on my car. I have turned it up to 78 degrees on full blast and had to keep it on during my entire trip to work just to keep the frost from forming on my windshield and blocking my view, which could cause me to crash. It happens on a regular basis either in the morning or at night. All my cars I have owned have never had this issue; where I have to keep the defroster running during an entire 30 minute drive.

The car had no electrical power. Anything electrical wouldn't work. We couldn't remove the ignition key, put windows or anything. The second time I tried to use the vehicles self jump start but nothing would work. There was absolutely no power in this car at this time. My wife said at on different occasions she did smell a burning odor. We also had the digital speedometer stop working. It started working again after the car was shut off and restarted. We feel we are driving a firebomb waiting to happen and do not want anything to do with this car anymore. Currently its at a gm dealer and they are trying to figure out whats wrong with this car. Best part is the dealers don't want this car back as evidenced by the low trade in value that was offered.

On Aug 13 I noticed that I was having issues starting my 2004 Buick Regal. On Aug 25 I had my 2004 Buick Regal towed to gateway Buick GMC at 11438 lbj fwy, dallas, TX due to the car immediately shutting off after starting it and shutting off while driving. The mechanics determined that it was due to wiring in the engine harness that shorted out the battery and also damaged the camshaft and the crankshaft sensors. The battery, wires, and sensors were all replaced. On Aug 27 I went and picked up the car and later on that day I tried to start the car and ran into the same issue. I had the car towed back to the dealership on Aug 28 and they determined that it was due to a dead battery. That night Aug 27 when I tried to start the car I noticed that the dashboard lights never shutoff thus killing the battery (wiring done by the mechanic). We got the battery replaced and on Sep 4 we went to pick up the car. On our way home the car shuts off while doing 60 mph on the highway. Later on that night the same issue returned. On Sep 4 we had the car towed back to the dealership. The dealership found that we had an ignition switch problem and they wanted $303. Unfortunately, my VIN number was not included in this official recall. I called gm and spoke with sabian (1-866-790-5700 ex. 41026, case #: 71-1361100546) who wasn't helpful. I know that my VIN wasn't included in the recall, but i¿m having the same issues as the other gm brands and models. The only remedy he offered was that I pay for the repair. I would like gm to look into my vehicle being included in the recall and to reimburse me for the repair for my ignition switch totaling $303 since I believe it¿s the same issue that its other models are having. Finally, I would like to be reimbursed for the 3 rental car costs. I incurred a cost of $42. 05 from avis, $343. 39 from budget, and $89. 21 from enterprise totaling $474. 65.

My son was driving when the car started smoking and caught fire. It was close as when he got out the front dash started burning. The car was a total loss. I have video of it burning and listening to my son describe all his clothes and personal things going up in flames. I have been writing and writing about this with every recall notice I receive. And that has been a lot. I only paid $3000. 00 for the car but feel cheated to have lost it all. And almost lost my son! my recall # is 090447. It would be nice to hear back from someone about this. Maybe it can be resolved in my favor as I have a Buick in my driveway now. I like them, always have.

The vehicle engine shut down and had to be restarted while rolling. Every event usually involved turning and braking at the same time, but occasionally shut down while idling at stop lights. It appeared to be similar to the ignition recalls that have been made on other vehicles, but not on this particular model. It has occurred several times and at least two to three times while turning onto on ramps to freeways. It always requires shifting into neutral to restart and very stiff steering because power steering is disabled. This has occurred in traffic and presented very hazardous conditions. I believe the ignition is at fault, but cannot say positively. Usually occurs when the car has been driven for some time and the engine has been running quite some time and is considerably warm. Under hot conditions it occurs more often.

The front seat head restraints are head "constraints. " both the angle of the braces supporting the head restraints and the thickness of the padding of the head restraints are excessive. When the seat is upright, a position of good posture, the head restraint forces the head down to look at the lap. Raising the head restraint increases the downward angle. Moving the seat-back away from vertical makes the head comfortable but then the back doesn't touch the seat-back and that position is rather tiring. Much of the time, the solution is to lean forward or to the right or to the left away from the head restraint to avoid discomfort and blocked vision. The 2013 Buick Regal has taken the head restraint criteria to excess and it would be helpful if modifications can be considered so that future head restraints are no longer a hindrance to drivers.
