2001 Buick Regal GS. Fuel filler pipe rusted out, sub frame very rusty, and rear bumper support rusted out. All had to be replaced. Had notified Buick on may 25, 2010 and they gave me a case number ( [xxx] ) Buick said there was nothing they could do for me as there was no recall on this car. 4 Gasoline Fuel System problem of the 2002 Buick Regal

Failure Date: 10/16/2006

Original owner of 2002 Regal with 38,678 miles. Car erupted in flames after being parked for driven for 25 miles on a mild 75 degree day. Car was routinely service and had no history of problems. Owner believes the car to be a lemon and possibly having a defective fuel pressure regulator.
