Air Bag Light On problems of the 2002 Buick Rendezvous

System scanner shows air bag light shut off. Just prior to purchase by me. Also clean car fax. Violation 167-822. Report enclosed. The vehicle was sold knowing there was an existing problem with the air bag, due the vehicle being in a severe accident. The technician found the passenger side air bag in the seat had deployed and the cover was being held in with tape and the codes had been cleared. Updated 09/16/11.

In addition, the fuel gauge worked occasionally, which prevented the contact from knowing how much fuel was in the tank.
