My windshield wipers locked at the tips during a downpour on the freeway. This happened previously while under warranty 10 months ago, a part was repaired and now it happened again. This will kill someone less fortunate or me the next time. It is in the shop being repaired again.
Consumer states that during the middle of a storm windshield wipers stopped. They remained in the middle of the windshield. She took vehicle to a service dealer ,and they stated that because windshield wipers were made out of aluminum they rusted. Then, dealer told her that it would be approximately $600 to repair and lubricate them. She was told that it needed to be done every few weeks.
