Engine would not idle below 3000 rpm, and once almost 4500 rpm causing excessive brake pedal pressure, had to actually put auto in neutral at stoplights. This should definitely been a safety recall, and funny this kind of problem was never mentioned as a possibility during the big Toyota scandal. My engine light came on and I took my truck to have an oil change where they discovered that gas was leaking my truck and they told me I need to have my gas filler hose replaced before it starts a fire and endanger me and my family. I was researching this on the internet and came across recalls for the same problem that I am having now. I want know how can I see if my truck is on that recall list. I am not the original owner of the truck but I only had it a year and a half. If my truck is only the recall list can I still get it fixed if I am not the original owner.
