The failure only occurred when driving up or down an incline. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the fuel gauge was replaced however, the failure persisted. The technician informed that a baffle would need to be installed inside of the fuel tank or the fuel tank would require replacement. The vehicle had not been repaired.
