Electronic Stability Control problem #1

I turned in my car to the dealership and when I went back too purchase it back they had changed out the dash and cluster the miles were not correct they also doubled the price of the the car.

Electronic Stability Control problem #2

I can be on the street driving and my vehicle just stalls out and I have to get it restarted and pulling the side of the road to restart it that's the first issue the second one is my check engine light keeps coming on and off and my traction system light stays on had it looked at it was fine system light remains on.

Electronic Stability Control problem #3

No acceleration, when I go up a hill no acceleration, or when I go to get on the highway no acceleration, and very dangerous. I went to dealership for a diagnostic test and I replaced fuel tank pressure sensor and vent solenoid, no acceleration. I went to another dealership for diagnostic. They recommended that I replace 3 electrical harnesses and connectors $1350 dollars parts and labor too much for me and that may not solve my problem. I told them the problem was corrosion in the connectors to the fuel pump $160 dollars later they agreed with me. Still dangerous.

Electronic Stability Control problem #4

Pcm has been causing problems. I first lost my speedometer with no idea how to fix it. Intermittent gas gage problems, and now vehicle cuts out while driving. Mechanic has ruled out plugs and wires, coils, ignition control and more. Now, I must go to the dealership with it. This recall is listed on 2004.

Electronic Stability Control problem #5

Dash gauges, warning lights, & alarms, bells flash on & off and vehicle suddenly runs rough. Dash codes of all sorts blink on & off. New battery and new altenator installed, problem still exists. This happened first when driving on hiway. After vehicle pulled off road and engine turned off. The dash code then read battery issue. We tried to drive again but now vehicle operated roughly and there was no more daylight. We had vehicle towed 100 miles. Then paid for new battery problem did not change so we had a new altenator installed after having a diagnostic test advising the need for a new altenator. I am quite upset becaus ei feel that there is fraud on part of sears autorepair. Diagnostic said altenator was the problem. I paid over $450 for that service and another $150 for the battery.

Electronic Stability Control problem #6

Dash board lights- flash and sound, while driving. . . Engine slows down and battery light goes on. . . Then, adjusts it's self and lights go off. SUV. , then, continues on hwy, like nothing's happened.

Electronic Stability Control problem #7

Engine would shut off while driving or not start after driving. Engine power reduced light comes on and speed throttled down to 20mph, check engine light stays on now. Replaced relay box under hood since a connector was found burned. Have also replaced the computer, alternator, ignition relay switch, fuel sensor relay. Has not been driven on highway at all for fear of it happining in high speed traffic. Problems have been consistently happening since purchased oct 2015.

Electronic Stability Control problem #8

On, Thursday, July 9th 2005, I tried to start my vehicle, it started but the ignition seemed to keep trying to start. None of the start up lights worked (oil, brake, service engine, seat belt), so I knew something was wrong. I turned the engine off and tried restarting it and it wouldn't start. I kept trying to start it for about 10 minutes. I finally gave up and went inside. I came back out and tried to start it again about 15 minutes later and it started up just fine and everything was working inside. On Monday, July 13th 2005, I tried to start it and nothing happened. I waited about 10 minutes and it started right up like nothing was ever wrong. I feel like there's a problem with the ignition somewhere. I'm afraid of what will happen if the car stalls while I'm driving it. The abs seems to come and go as it pleases as well, I don't know if there have been any complaints about that.

Electronic Stability Control problem #9

I've had so many problems with this vehicle. Spent over $4000 in repairs in the last 6 months. The first problem I had was while driving on the highway the reduced engine power light and traction system light would come on and the vehicle would just decelerate and wouldn't go over 15mph. I had it repaired once and was told it was the wiring harness and then 2 months later the same thing happened again had it repaired and was told it was the wiring harness and computer that needed replaced. And now I'm having a similar issue but this time the service engine soon light is flashing but the car doesn't want to accelerate and takes several seconds to even get up to 35 mph. I had this repaired once and was told it was a wiring/fuse issue and that the car was only running on 3 cylinders and literally 2 days after the repair it started happening again. This is ridiculous. My mechanic even told me I should just get rid of the vehicle because it obviously has major wiring issues. It only has 130,000 miles.

Electronic Stability Control problem #10

Traveling on highway, roads were wet but not icy. Hit a wet spot on a curve. Slid slightly to the right and passenger tire dropped off pavement. Easily corrected back onto the road, but then the back hydroplaned and the vehicle rolled over and crashed, landing upside down in a culvert. Driver and front seat passenger transported to local hospital via squad. Vehicle totaled by insurance. None of the airbags deployed.

Electronic Stability Control problem #11

I was driving and all the electrical units failed including powersteering and brakes, this is the third time this has happened and I am afraid this will happen and cause an accident. There was a recall in 2004 on the same problem thank you.

Electronic Stability Control problem #12

This is the third time that this very scary and life threatening event has occurred. The first time this occurred in 2009 in minnesota. I parked in a parking lot. The key was stuck in the ignition. This was replaced at a Buick dealership in rochester, mn viking Buick. The second time, in July 2013 on a major highway in chicago going at approximately 10 mph going in slow moving traffic. The same event occurred for the third time on July 19 ,2014. The car stopped running while driving in 2013 and 2014. The engine turned off. The steering wheel did not move. I attempted to restart the car several times. The key did not move nor could it be retrieved. The battery light then turned on. After several minutes, I was able to restart the car by turning the ignition key. I was not aware that there were recalls on Buick Rendezvous 2004. I learned about these from listening to the news. I have called Buick in June 2014. I was told that based on my VIN, the car does not qualify for a recall and they refused to help me with evaluating the car. I have told them that the ignition system has been replaced in 2009. Buick tells me that they do not see this on their system. I have the receipts, payments and information from the Buick dealership that completed this as well as from the towing company that towed the car there. This event occurred again on July 19, 2014 while I was in a shopping mall parking. An additional event that I noticed this third time was that I could not even get out of the car as it remained unlocked. I have reviewed on your website that there have been several recalls related to these events and others for which I have not been notified by gm or Buick. I have had the car go through diagnostics several times throughout the years, but what has happened is not identified at the check ups.

Electronic Stability Control problem #13

The Buick Rendezvous would not start after our son little practice had to tow out of park. Electrical ignition switch had to be replaced by local mechanic. Also out of every 10 starts 2 or 3 have a hard time starting and when you drive on road and push gas pedal it seems like it will stall completely I went to Buick dealer but he told me there is no reacall on this car. I am afraid it will stall on road my kids are in this car all the time I am afraid for them the dealer said he would take a look but I would have to pay to fix because this is not part of recall I think this is horrible treatment of regular people taking money and more money and not concerned about safety what country is this. Usa or some 3rd world country all I want is gm to fix relay between key and ignition switch and change computer module under hood and give me new key I have always bought gm but them and their dealers are making pray everyday that nothing happens to my family in their car.

Electronic Stability Control problem #14

Takata recall traction control, abs I have replaced both front hubs barings with abs sensors twice in 1 year. Still the traction control comes on when iam about to stop or turn.

Electronic Stability Control problem #15

Transmission clunks, jumps and shifts at the wrong times and at the wrong speeds. This can be felt and heard as a loud bank and whole vehicle jerk by all passengers. Unnerving as well as concern for safety. Two trips to the dealer without any solution.

Electronic Stability Control problem #16

In Jan 2011, front right wheel hub assembly and speed sensor was replaced with oem part. In June 2011, the part had failed again. Per mechanic, fault is due to speed sensor not returning correct speed when speed is < 8 mph. Per mechanic, this wiill increase stopping distance when it occurs.

Electronic Stability Control problem #17

Multiple problems with 2005 Buick Rendezvous. I am writing to you in regards to the front wheel bearing and hub. 4th time being repaired since 2007 - once a year this part has failed and needed to be replaced. 5/4/07 right at 33,860 7/15/08 right at 61,546 4/6/09 left at 78,057 4/15/10 right at 99,500 the issue is the awd disable and antilock break lock light iss coming on. I am so nervous to drive in this car, I do not feel safe. May I also mention that I have had 2 tie rod replacements, 1 transfer case assembly replacement, 1 rim replacement because it cracked. Actually my tires (4 brand new tires) continue to loose air - I am filling up approximately every 2 weeks.

Electronic Stability Control problem #18

1st time: driving into portland, or. When engine started to make a awful noise by the time I found a dealer the sound was awful. The dealer said that I had 1 push rod jammed and locked up. It was replaced. 2nd. Time 1 year to the month it happened again. Took to dealer and #4 locked up and bent. The dealer said this is becoming a common item with this car. It seems that because of the aluminum block expands and retracks when it is hot that the bolt used to push the rod comes loose and causes the rod the finelly bend. I check with another repair shop and they had, had 2 in the last year. I was told this will continue to happen until I replace all rods. At which time they will put in new bolts with lock tight so they will not come loose. So far I have been lucky that only one at a time has good. If two had gone out they said I probably would have lost control of the car. As it would lock up.
