The Tailgate Latch problem

The rear hatch does not stay open. It is a big danger to kids, adults, etc. We can not use the rear of the vehicle at all because we are worried about it crashing down on someone - you need someone to hold it open while the other loads or unload items (eg groceries) in or out of it.
