Fuel line heat shield rusted and is leaking gas. I noticed gas outside before getting into car few days before gas leak was noticeable. I could not tell if it was my car or not as it was always in a parking lot that I noticed smelling gas. Yesterday, I noticed I had to pump the gas a couple times in order to start car. Went to the grocery store, and when leaving store, gas oder was strong. Once I was on my way home, 5 miles from store. Gas smell was strong inside cabin, and once home gas continued to leak for another 5-10 minutes after turning car off. I inspected the the leak this morning, and could see the heat shield on fuel line was rusted through along the underside of fuel line u joint. I am waiting for my car to be inspected by fire departmnet so that I can have to towed (nebraska requirement to towe car with gas leaking issue) to repair shop.

After filling the fuel tank there is a strong gas odor that is present until the tank is almost empty. When walking around the vehicle or loading/unloading the vehicle, the strong gas odor is always present. This vehicle was at a dealership and they took it to the local personal auction company where I bid on it and bought it along with household items.

The gas gage has been off since I bought it in September 2018. I run out of gas right before 1/4 of a tank and when I fill it it goes about 1/4 over the full line. The passenger seat side airbag went off closing the door may 2019.

I have a gas leak coming from the bottom of my car is the fuel line and every year I have to change my power steering punk and I get regular oil changes and my transmission still goes slow and my car smells like fart I'm a truck driver so I left a year-and-a-half ago so my car been sitting I just got back home about 2 weeks ago and these are the problems that I'm facing now . Why.

Car was sold to me in 2018. First day driving after purchase, overheated after going maybe a mile down the road. Have had several instances where this has happened, and several different parts replaced. Head gasket, water pump, thermostat, radiator flushed/filled, motor mount and left stranded several occasions due to this issue. Twice having to walk in the winter with my daughter. Vehicle overheats in motion, stationary and regardless of city or highway.

While driving the anti-lock and awd lite on and smell of gas from inside of cabin and sometimes from under the hood . Also when trying to accelerate the car bogs and the rpm fo high but the carvseama to lose power . Ob2 code is p0445.

Car kept running hot and no remedy was found for it. Batteries and other repairs were done concerning the electrical things; but the car running hot was never resolved even with replacing the thermostat etc. I could only drive about a block and the check cooling system error came on and the car speed would automatically slow down and the engine would automatically cut off if you continued to drive it while hot. . . . Smoke from the hood etc. Would happen. Could feel intense heat when raised the hood. If the car was stationary. . . . After running for a while it would still run hot and eventually the hot light would come on in the inside warning panel. The last mechanic took it apart and never put it back together, neither fixed the car running hot problem. The uploaded files and pictures will show the condition my car was left in and the auto parts taken aloose/apart and not reconnected.

Pcm has been causing problems. I first lost my speedometer with no idea how to fix it. Intermittent gas gage problems, and now vehicle cuts out while driving. Mechanic has ruled out plugs and wires, coils, ignition control and more. Now, I must go to the dealership with it. This recall is listed on 2004.

* - on two different occasions my 2004 Buick Rendezvous has caused the inside of the car to fill up with strong gasoline smell. When checking the ground I discovered it was leaking gasoline. I was told that there was no more recall on my VIN# - however, I'm discovering that other 2004 Buick Rendezvouses are reporting the same of similar problem under campaign #07v349000. I was never notified of a recall for this issue, which could be a very serious safety issue, as I haul around by very young grandchildren. What? does someone have to die before this issue is addressed properly?.

The contact owns a 2005 Buick Rendezvous. While driving 45 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. After inspecting the vehicle, it was discovered that the fuel hose had detached. Fuel lines in engine are rusted and needed to be replaced. This occurred around engine and leak could have started a fire in the engine compartment because of the hot pipes etc. This leak was extremely dangerous because of location.

Engine stops working with loss of all control, battery turns over but vehicle will not start. When I press on accelerator the car will start but when I stop at the stop light the car will stop. I am afraid to drive it in highway. .

One day I was on my way to drop of the kids at daycare when the care suddenly turns off, I was going at least 60 mph;I was on the highway. Thank god nothing happened , I was able to pull over safely I waited for a while then maybe 15 min later it turns back on. I started to notice that the car started smelling, like gas, I took it to the mechanic,several times but they never could figure out what it was. After that incident it went down hill it started to heat up on me, wasted more gas, would turn off on me a lot and air/heat stopped working. I replaced the transmission because it started to slip, thinking that it will fix the problem and boy was I wrong. It was still doing the same, the smell was getting worse, I took it back to my mechanic. He told me that the head gasket needed to be replaced, I didn't have more money. He did't let me drive home, he was very worried because the smell of gas was so bad, he said that I should risk my kids and myself, the care can catch on fire. He had the truck towed to my house didn't charge me for it and I haven't moved it since then. . Ive put so much money in that truck, I kept up with the maintenance like clock work. I was just lucky that we never crashed we got close and we didn't blow up. I don't know weather I should take it in to a gm dealer to have them evaluate the truck to see if it is part of the recall.

Fuel lines were rusted, noticed and smelled gasoline. Was afraid that the car could catch on fire due the fact that the gas was leaking steadily. Had to change all 3 fuel lines from the fuel filter to the firewall, which my brother-in-law worked on it. He then noticed that the brake lines were rusty and requested that I have them checked out.

Oil and anti freeze leaking valve cover gasket needs to be replaced. And also the wheel hub and the vehicle is currently running hot.

I purchased this vehicle in 2013, and a few years later, I began smelling gas. After doing my due diligence, I found out that there is a recall for this issue, because the check inlet valve at the top of the tank where the filler neck connects to the tank is cracked. Great, no, only certain Rendezvous were covered, and even though mine has the exact same issue, they refuse to cover it and replace the tank. Well, apparently, there were so many complaints by other Rendezvous owners that were also not "included" in the recall, the recall was expanded to all Rendezvous', but with the stipulation that it had to have less than 150,000 miles on it, which by that time, my car was over that mileage. So now I'm still driving with gas leaking out of my car, a known and admittedly unsafe defect, because just to purchase that gas tank is over $1,000, not including the labor to drop the tank and replace it, approximately 3-4 hours labor. My disability check cannot afford that, so I have been forced to continue driving an unsafe car because they are refusing to repair their defect. And I'm not the only one. I've seen numerous videos of mechanic's shops begging gm to cover this. And I take my grandchildren to school in this car. At least if the car does blow up one day because they wont' fix their own safety issue, I'll have one more record of trying to get it fixed and the request being ignored. I'm putting all this information in a file that will go to my daughter and attorney, as well as anyone else's attorney that is injured or killed because of not being repaired. All I was is to drive a car with gas not leaking out of my tank as I drive. I cover all the other repairs that it needs. I don't think this is too much to ask, especially since it won't cost the dealership anywhere near $1500 to fix, and any price would be far less than it will cost gm in a wrongful death suit.

The fuel inlet pipe containing the inlet check valve is fractured and fuel vapors and fuel is leaking out. Gm data previously revealed that elevated ambient temperatures, higher carbon content in the icv and variation in the manufacturing process were contributing factors for cracks in the icv. The car was located in southern florida for an extended period of time which has caused the fracture in the icv.

I purchased this vehicle used in December 2014, the very first night driving it home, the engine would nit start. I immediately called the dealer, took the car back and watched as they ran a diagnostic. Nothing was wrong with it. I did some research and it seems to be a normal issue with the make and model. Then I noticed the faulty gas guage, reading low fuel then all of a sudden I have gas. Again, contacted the dealer, took it back and yet again, diagnostic ran with clear readings. I looked up thaylt issue and of course, complaints about the same issue were common. Finally, on April 9th I was on my way home and was involved in an accident. It was a front impact accident which totaled the vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. The windshield was completely shattered, glass flew everywhere. After the front impact, the vehicle rolled over then landed on on the passengers side. How is it safe to have multiple complaints about serious issues and nothing be done about it by the manufactures! I almost lost my life due to the airbags failing which is a, yet again, a common complaint!.

Intermittent loss of power, loss of abs brakes and loss of awd. When you apply pressure to the gas pedal (accelerator) if you depress the pedal for what feels like over a 1/2 inch you lose power and the rpms go sky high and you can hear it trying to rev up. To get going you have to release the gas and press lightly. I loss power, esp. Going uphill since it needs more to go, but you can't give it more gas else it won't go. I and my fiancã© were almost hit in an intersection because of this loss of power. You can gain speed, but very slowly and anytime you depress the gas pedal further it again fails. Replaced three wheel bearings, all brakes, two calipers and the throttle position sensor. Nothing shows on the readout except for the front bearings aren't reading right, but they're brand new and have been re-checked for defect. Still that hasn't fixed the issue. Upon problem has actually been occurring for almost two months now.

When letting the car warm up in the morning, the car is overcome with a strong fuel smell, so much so that we had to roll down the windows when we entered the vehicle and while driving to air it out. This has continued fairly regularly, and is still as strong as before when it happens. I am even afraid of any spark because the smell is so strong.
