Two problems related to steering wheel have been reported for the 1996 Buick Skylark. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Veh has two recalls #96v24900-steering column lower pinch bolt was not properly tightened during assembly. An under torqued pinch bolt can rattle and cause looseness in steering system (causing grinding noise).
Insufficient insulation under steering column caused draft to come in under left lower dash panes.
