Vehicle started flashing multiple indicators on the dashboard, including those related to the charging system. Radio screen went off and then the power steering lost electrical boost while turning the steering wheel. Radio screen came back on its own but then it started cycling among its options (am, fm, bluetooth, etc) until settling in fm radio. Second occurrence was similar, although with different manifestations with the dashboard indicators although most concerning behavior dealt with the steering loosing boost almost causing an accident. Have reconnected the battery (changed about 4 months ago, currently showing 12. 38v) and retighten the connections to the poles. Retightened the cables going to ground (they were not loose).

The car stalls in traffic and the air conditioning will stop working and remote start doesn't work although I have paid for it to be fixed. You can just be driving along the car will stop and not start. It has stalled 6 times in mid traffic putting my life and my children's life in danger we almost was hit by other cars on the highway because the car stopped suddenly. This on or around October 13, 2020.
February 2021 electronic parking brake activated while vehicle moving without being activated. Vehicle slid to a stop. This is a major safety issue for both the driver and other vehicles on the road as the vehicle is braking on its own and locking the rear wheels. Service parking brake light illuminated. Vehicle was brought to jim curley Buick GMC in lakewood, NJ. Parking brake module was replaced at customer cost. October 2021 same issue reoccurred. Vehicle was brought again to jim curley. Dealer replaced parking brake module again. Issue reoccurred while in dealer possession. Dealer is now replacing all rear calipers, rotors, and pads at customer cost. Vehicle is a major safety risk as this issue causes the vehicle to unexpectedly brake and lock the rear wheels causing the driver to lose control.

The contact owns a 2016 Buick Verano. While driving 30 mph, the contact depressed the brake pedal, but the vehicle failed to stop properly. The vehicle eventually came to a stop. The failure occurred a second time and the contact had to apply the electric parking brake in order to stop. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed, but the failure could not be duplicated. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and provided case number: 8-2909153881. The manufacturer stated that the failure was serious and would reach back out to the contact. The contact had not received a response. The failure mileage was 17,703.

The contact owned a 2014 Buick Verano. While attempting to place the vehicle in reverse, the brake pedal was depressed, but failed to respond. As a result, the vehicle independently accelerated and caused both a front and rear end collision. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact's wife sustained injuries to the neck and arm that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to an insurance lot and then later towed to an independent mechanic. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 400.
While my wife was driving the car, the electronic parking brake came on causing the car to come to an ubrupt stop on a city street. It did not turn off until my wife turned off the engine, restarted it and shifting through the automatic transmission gears. The car has been at henry brown Buick in gilbert, az for over a month and they have not been able to figure out the problem. General motors has refused to do anything further about the problem. This is a life-threatening issue with potential grave consequences if the brake came on again on a highway or in traffic.

The recall and free replacement of the 2016 Buick Verano due to its car status as a "federation violation and restricted code" of "cars not to be sold nor lease in the united states of America bearing a VIN#pp". Whereto the car has anti-lock break for hot climate country. No automatic breaking system (abs), no traction control system (tsc), and no heating elements for the fluid case holders. Hence forth my "Buick Verano 2016 car did not comply to the must requirements for all cars in snow country like USA". The Buick manufacturing and car insurance has order immediate recall and free replacement requesting intervention for ""abeloff Buick is not acting and complying to the recall and replacement orders"" as attached for they are ignoring the status of the car; the documents attached are as follows, for consideration and perusal to the recall and free replacement of the Buick car; 1. Us VIN check report, depicting already recalled, with restriction code to be sold in the USA. 4. Perry-Buick check report as good wrench car, anti-break or drum break. Series of e-mail had been sent since March 2016 and the latest was 6/27/2016, requesting intervention to imposed perusal to the orders as mentioned that are ignored by the dealership abeloff Buick, this is life threatening issue and a real federal road safety violation for selling/leasing out a band car in the USA. Please intervine by imposing to "abeloff Buick" tel # 570-421-9900 to "recall and give the free replacement car to the registered owner of the 2016 Buick car subject to car recall and free replacement", and herein submitting the formal complaint with urgent status and as deem required by law.
I own a 2014 Buick Verano. I purchased this car in may 2015. I noticed an issue with it's breaking system on 1/20/2016. I was sitting at a stop light, applying the brakes with moderate pressure. Because it had been snowing earlier in the day, I suppose I was pressing down harder than normal. As I was sitting there, I noticed the brake pedal slowly moving to the floor. I pulled off the road and repeated the operation in a parking lot. Indeed, sitting still, with the car in park, the brake pedal continues to slowly move to a completely depressed position, resting on the floor. I scheduled an appointment with the dealership for 2/22/2016. The service manager told me that this was a known issue and was due to either the anti-lock braking system activation (while sitting motionless?), or the brake booster slowly losing vacuum (which would make the pedal rise from the floor instead of going towards it). The dealer said 'they checked out the brake system', (something I don't fully believe), and the braking system was completely normal. I insisted that the dealer bring another vehicle into the shop, and they complied. The newer Verano did exactly the same thing. I have not had an accident with this car, but I believe the design of the braking system is flawed. At an earlier point in my life, I did a considerable amount of maintenance to the vehicles I owned. I have never considered the situation with the Buick Verano brakes to be a normal condition. I ask that your engineers take a look at this situation and determine if it is safe, or not. I certainly do not feel safe.
The contact owns a 2012 Buick Verano. After the vehicle was serviced, the brakes made an abnormal noise. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the brakes needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. In addition, while driving at an unknown speed, the windshield wipers failed to operate. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the failure was undetermined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The VIN and failure mileage were unknown.
The contact owns a 2012 Buick Verano. While driving approximately 40 mph, all of the warning lights on the instrument panel remained illuminated and the brakes made an abnormal noise when the gear was shifted into reverse. The failure recurred several times. The contact also stated that the traction and low volt lights needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures. The failure mileage was 59,831.
