The contact owns a 2018 Cadillac Ats. The contact stated while driving 35 mph the contact heard a odd sounds coming from the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and axles, gaskets, and the seals where replaced, but the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnoses and the dealer stated that the rear end system needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and provided no assists. The failure mileage was 59,800.
