Two problems related to vehicle speed control have been reported for the 1997 Cadillac Catera. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While waitng at a stop sign the with foot depressed on the brake pedal the vehicle accelerated upto 15 to 20 mph, resulting in the consumer running into a wall. Consumer has contacted the dealer .
When driving at highway speeds vehicle surged forward. Consumer had vehicle towed to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic was unable to duplicate the problem.
