Three problems related to tank assembly have been reported for the 1999 Cadillac Catera. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Automatic shutoff from fuel tank filler does not register when tank is filled, causing fuel spillage. Consumer has had fuel tank replaced by dealer twice, and problem still exists.
Fuel pours onto the ground, does not shut off automatically/ alarm and doors do not respond to keyless remote.
