One problem related to loud engine noise has been reported for the 1997 Cadillac Concours. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving the car starts to make a loud noise like gears changing and comes almost to a halt. The speed gauge just drops from 50 to 30, as though the drive has applied the brakes. The vehicle has been to shop (4) times in a (6) month period for this problem. The problem has not been corrected.
