Two problems related to tire tread/belt have been reported for the 2004 Cadillac CTS. The most recently reported issues are listed below. Please also check out the statistics and reliability analysis of the 2004 Cadillac CTS based on all problems reported for the 2004 CTS.
Excessive tire wear.
April 2005, notified of tire deterioration - 12,000 miles on new vehicle. July 2005, dead battery with car. August 2005, car shut itself down while on interstate 80. Unable to use any automatic equipment. August 2005 notified of tire deterioration again, 18,000 miles. This is a lot of problems both mechanical and with the tires in a relatively short period. Tires and mechanical problem I believe to be a manufactures defect.
