The trunk lid on the Cts has malfunctioned and willnot stay up. It came down ans hit me across the shoulders when trying to unload items in the trunk. This had happened on several occasions, many times I have or other people have actually been stuck in the head forcefully by this heavy lid.
The traction control turned off when I was driving at about 45mph. I have loss of motive power and traction control will not turn back on. Starting to back out of driveway and when applying brakes they are stiff and barely working and really hard to stop car.
The back rear is making a loud noising, like there are big tires on the car. The mechanic said its the penion seal. I looked up the issue and there is a recall on the penion seal.
The engine light flashes on for 2 seconds, then the car decelerates for seconds, and then all is okay. This may happen several times in a row within 5 to 10 minutes. We first had the battery and alternator replaced, as suggested. Then this happened 4 more times, whereas we took it to a dealer who could not find anything wrong. It's hard to feel safe while driving this vehicle as it's happened at major intersections and also in heavy traffic.
The clutch on the Cadillac Cts v went after 40,000 miles. When it gets cold outside the it can become sticky and not fully usable. I think it might be the hydralic fluid in the clutch. It should not go bad every 40,000 miles can lead to possible crash if the clutch does not engage. I am lucky have not been in a crash due to the problems I am having with it.
