1 Front Suspension Control Arm problem

The contact owns a 2006 Cadillac Cts-v. While attempting to pull out of the driveway, the lower control arm ball joint stud assembly detached. The contact discovered that the washer beneath the castle nut was fractured and began to loosen over time. The issue created a gap between the castle nut and the Cts assembly that eventually caused the detachment. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.
