Tl- the contact owns a 2006 Cadillac Cts. The contact stated that upon moving from a red light stop, the vehicle could only accelerate to 15 mph. There was no warning indicator. The vehicle was pulled to the side where the contact opened the hood and noticed fluid gushing out of the radiator. The contact had the vehicle towed to his house where an independent mechanic observed that a fitting popped out of the radiator. The contact notified a local dealer who dispatched a technician to diagnose the failure. The dealer diagnosed that the failure was a known issue with Cadillacs but stated that the vehicle was out of warranty and not in recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 70,000. The contact owns a 2006 Cadillac Cts. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 mph, the transmission failed without warning and the vehicle would not accelerate. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, where it was found that the hose that was connected to the radiator and to the transmission had failed. The vehicle was not n repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 126,000.
