The headlights flash-to-pass feature only functioned on 20'06 Cadillac Dts when the headlights were turned on. Also, on all of my previous automobiles the headlights would illuminate and flash-to-pass even though the headlights were not turned on at the time. I demonstrated this to the dealer, and he tried it on a similar vehicle and it did not work either. I consider this an important safety feature and would use it frequently.
