Tl the contact owns a 2006 Cadillac Dts equipped with dextero touring dtr1 tires, size: 225/55/r17 (na). The contact stated that his wife's CO-worker noticed bubbles on the sidewall of the front driver's side tire. The vehicle was taken to an auto center where it was diagnosed that the tire needed to be replaced. The contact was advised to pay out of pocket and seek reimbursement; however, the tire was out of stock. The tire was not replaced. The manufacturer was notified and did not assist. The contact was advised to call NHTSA. The approximate vehicle and tire failure mileage was 148,000. The dot number was not available.
