- the contact stated foot was getting stuck between the console and the gas pedal. The contact believed that foot was getting stuck because of the padding on the console, by the gas pedal. Updated 2/6/2007 -.
While turning into a parking space at a very low speed my engine by itself accelerated very fast and I immediately put my foot on the brake but this did not stop the car so I put it into reverse and kept my foot on brake the car continue to accelerate very fast but eventually stopped. My car was totalled as it hit the car in front of me which hit the car on it side when I was going forward, when it was in reverse I did not hit any cars. Luckily no one was in the cars I hit and I did not get hurt. There was a witness who saw my brake lights on when my car was out of control accelerating.
