Body Problems of Cadillac DTS

2007 Cadillac Dts has been giving me problems with leaking water from either the moon roof or roof itself near driver's door. The floor gets soaked with water and has caused a part called a yaw under the seat to short the wiring out and had to be replaced because it controls the tail lights and tail lights and brake lights were staying stationary when driving so car behind me has no indication whether brakes are being applied. I replaced the yaw but the roof is still leaking and it could happen again and could cause the floor to rot out from repeatedly getting wet when raining. I feel this is a serious safety concern and should be fixed by Cadillac.

Hello!I recently purchased a 2007 Cadillac Dts with 71,000 miles good for this year. When purchasing this vehicle when driving water fell on my legs. I told dealer about this and the dealer sent it to a Cadillac dealer to fix the leak. So I purchased the 2007 Cadillac Dts. About 3 weeks later it rained and driver and passenger rear was soaked and the stabilizer control on dash icon saying service stabilizer. I took it back to dealer and found out taillights werent working properly. Will anyway so many trips to dealers and moonroof is still leaking and due to floors getting soaked the yaw under drivers seat has been damaged by the water and caused the stabilizer to shorten out so it will interfer with stability on wet and snow conditions with no control. I have since replaced the yaw but floor is still getting wet from rain . I beleive this is a safety hazard for sure. It should be presented to Cadillac as a serious defect. This problem started 10/14/2018.

Tl- the contact owns a 2006 caddilac Dts. The contact stated while sitting in the drive way the contact noticed oil leaking from the vehicle. The failure happened without warning. The vehicle was taken into the dealer where it was confirmed the vehicle was leaking coolant and oil and the intake manifold, associated gaskets, seals, and water pump. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The vehicle failure mileage was 90,000. Kh.

We were hit in right side by a driver who pulled out from a stop sign and crossed two lanes hitting our car in the passenger side on the fender and front door. Air bags did not deploy causing injury to head and neck.

The Cadillac was stopped in traffic on the highway and airbags failed to deploy when rear ended by semi-truck going possibly 40mph causing the Cadillac to crash into the car in front as well. The car was total loss, the speed of semi truck is unknown but seeing the Cadillac was total loss and with serious damage to the front and back of the vehicle the airbag should have gone off and did not.

Both rear doors will not open in warm weather. Dealer will not repair because vehicle is out of factory warranty. We are unable to open the door when disembarking children and elderly handicapped adults. There is a concern that we cannot get people out of the car when they cannot open it themselves from the inside. This is also a hazard if the vehicle is involved in an accident. Also this prolongs the time individuals remain in the car in hot weather with the windows up and the driver has shut off the motor, and assisting individuals from the vehicle.

Hit a truck pulling a lowboy trailer stopped at a stop light. . Due to a concussion, I do not remember the details of the crash. However I do know that the air bag did not deploy and I hit the steering wheel hard enough with my face and chest to bend the steering wheel. I received a severe concussion, five broken ribs and facial lacerations due to hitting the steering wheel. Due to my injuries I was in intensive care and the hospital for nine days and spent 20 days in a rehabilitation facility. I am home now, still in pain and moving around with the help of a walker. I have owned Cadillacs for the last 30 years. I will never drive another one. If this happened once, what is to say it won't happen again. Except this time to a family of four, instead of a widow traveling alone. I have photos of the damaged vehicle if they are needed.
